About the Role
As a key member of an established in-house team, you’ll take charge of maintaining and enhancing the performance of a wide range of modern plant, equipment, and systems controlled. From reactive repairs to planned preventative maintenance, your expertise will help create safe, sustainable, and cost-effective environments.
Key responsibilities include:
• Performing reactive and planned maintenance across all building services systems.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborating with building users and third-party service providers.
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out procedure.
You’ll work on equipment and systems covering heating, lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, fire safety systems, and more.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive, mechanically qualified engineer with a commitment to excellence and a team-oriented mindset. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• A recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• C&G 2365 in Electrical Installations Level 3 or BTEC/NVQ in Building Services.
• C&G 2382 IEE Regulations (18th Edition).
• C&G 2391 Test and Inspection (desirable).
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and legislation.
• Working at Height PASMA (Scaffold or MEWP trained).
• Understanding of safety procedures for HV switching or AP approval.
• Expertise in HVAC systems and L8 Control of Legionellosis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
