Are you an experienced facilities professional passionate about managing historic buildings and creating outstanding visitor experiences? Join our client as their Head of Property and Facilities (HPF) and lead the maintenance and operation of our clients iconic Grade I listed building in the heart of London.

Their historic premises are a vibrant hub, serving as a museum, public events venue, café, and office space for staff and commercial tenants. The Role

As HPF, you will:

• Oversee the maintenance, safety, and operation of our clients’ Grade I listed building.

• Lead a team, including a Multi-skilled Technician and Front of House staff, to deliver excellent service to tenants, staff, and visitors.

• Manage a £1 million facilities budget and £1 million tenant income while ensuring operational efficiency.

• Serve as the clients’ Health and Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a long-term plan for the building's refurbishment and improvement.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable professional with:

• Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in listed or heritage buildings.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and inspire a high-performing team.

• Expertise in building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and a commitment to health and safety excellence.

• Experience managing budgets and tenant relationships in multi-use spaces.

• A forward-thinking approach, balancing strategic planning with attention to detail.
