Join our prestigious client where you'll lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing their diverse portfolio of buildings. You will oversee a dynamic team and a substantial external contractor network, managing a sizeable multi-million pound annual budget.

Role Overview:

Reporting to Director level, you will drive the strategic delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance services across their portfolio. Your leadership will ensure services are delivered safely, compliantly, and efficiently, meeting stringent Service Level Agreements and KPIs tailored to their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, balancing in-house and external service delivery for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Contractor Management: Oversee procurement and management of maintenance contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and standards.

• Service Delivery: Ensure all maintenance activities meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards, implementing robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) regimes.

• Health & Safety: Champion a culture of safety across the maintenance function, ensuring full compliance with policies and legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership in managing large-scale maintenance operations, ideally within a complex environment.

• Strong technical expertise in maintenance methodologies and statutory compliance within the built environment.

• Effective communicator and relationship builder at all levels, with demonstrated experience in team management and development.

• Relevant qualifications in maintenance/construction and professional certifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) are advantageous.
