Role Overview: As a Building Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and maintaining a first-class environment, overseeing everything from team leadership to budget management and third-party supplier coordination. This role demands a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure high-quality services that meet both tenant needs and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & People Management: Lead and motivate the site team, ensuring seamless collaboration with third-party suppliers to deliver top-tier service to building occupiers.
Occupier Liaison: Develop strong relationships with tenants, address issues proactively, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation ,while overseeing emergency procedures and building safety systems.
Service and Supplier Management: Maintain high standards for both hard and soft services, from M&E maintenance to cleaning and security, ensuring all statutory tests and safety measures are followed.
Sustainability: Implement sustainability strategies by managing utility consumption and collaborating with the sustainability team to reduce environmental impact.
Key Skills & Experience:
· Proven leadership and team management skills
· Solid knowledge of property-based Health & Safety laws and sustainability practices
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Financial management experience, including budget preparation and service charge management
· Ability to drive continuous improvements in service delivery
