Here are five steps to help you sustain your motivation towards achieving your goals:

Envision the future state of accomplishment

Take a moment to imagine the life you will lead once you have achieved your goal. Visualize how you will spend your time, the people you will be with, and the emotions you will experience. Allow yourself to fully indulge in this creative exercise and savor the positive feelings it evokes.

Reflect on the disparity between your current and desired circumstances

Contemplate the aspects of your life that you want to change by reaching your goals. Ask yourself what sets apart your envisioned future from your present reality. This technique of contrasting motivates you to strive for your goal and move away from your current situation. It also helps foster resilience as you commit to progressing despite anticipated challenges.

Identify potential obstacles along your journey
